Homecoming
    During the week that precedes homecoming, Arcanum does Spirit Week. During Spirit Week, the students dress differently based on that day's theme. The one theme that is common every year is Orange and Black. This year, the theme for homecoming was Welcome to the Jungle.
 
N.H.S. Inductions
    Every year the National Honor Society holds an induction ceremony for new members. Prospective students have an opportunity to apply if they have a high enough GPA, and are at least sophomores. Once they fill out the application, a group of teachers choose which  students will be inducted. During the ceremony, current N.H.S. members talk about what it means to be part of the group. During the tapping part of the ceremony, a teacher walks about the audience, finds a student who is being inducted, and places a tassel on their shoulders. Then a current N.H.S. member of the opposite gender escorts the new member to the front to official be inducted. At the 2011-2012 inductions, 12 people were inducted, they were: Mat Albright, Cat Clark, Anthony Ditmer, Cody Fourman, Grady Garno, Lexi Hackworth, Dallas Johnson, Aubrey Kreusch, Lacey Synder,  Micaele Wright, and Caitlin Yantis.

Intramurals
    Intramural basketball is an activity where students form their own basketball teams and compete with one another. These teams can be made up of any high school student. This year, there are only three teams which will be participating. And due to scheduling conflicts, the games won't begin until February. At the end,  the two best teams play one another, and the winner takes on a team of teachers. More to come once the event has happened.

Spring Fling
    Spring Fling takes place the week of Prom. Each day holds a different event to prepare the students for prom. During that week, students vote for the Prom court, and the Prom King and Queen. More information once the event has happened.

Prom
    Prom is the last big dance of the year, and the last one for Seniors. The Prom committee decides where, when, and what the Prom will be like for that year. Soon, the Prom committee will form and begin making decisions about what  Prom will be like in 2012. More to come once the event has happened.

Mr. A.H.S.
    The Mr. A.H.S. competition is like a beauty contest for the males of Arcanum high school. One student from each grade and organization is selected to be involved. There is a dancing section, a question and answer section, and a talent section. At the end of the competition, a new Mr. A.H.S. is crowned. More to come once the event has happened.
